Another Ameranthropoides




This time I found a representation of a Chimu gold vase, coastal Peru, from sometime between 100 and 1000 AD. This one also does not have a tail but it is connected to the vase part by a pipe attaching to the middle of the back. This one also seems to be eating a sweet potato or possibly an avocado. I also have another example from Mexico, but because the body is obviously human and wearing clothes, it is probably misleading as to the anatomy of the actual animal intended.
